Black Diamond Momentum Harness

My first harness and if I didn’t have others I would gladly use it again. I prefer buckles for the leg loops as the fit feels more secure, but the elastic system on this harness is easily adjustable and very comfortable.

So long as the fit around the waist is good, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this harness to any beginner climber. It comes in many colour ways, both male and female fits and at a great price point online or at your local climbing store.

Ocun Webee Big Wall Momentum Harness

The number 1 most comfortable harness I have used. I could (and have) sit in this harness for a considerable time and feel only mild discomfort. I believe the perforated harness material is unique to Ocun and is a great feature on hot sweaty climbs. Perhaps my only gripe is that this material isn’t as sturdy and padded as the Twist Eco, but that’s being very scrupulous.

Ocun Twist Eco Harness

The second most comfortable harness I have ever used. I’m a big fan of the floating belt design, it gives the wearer a lot of adjustment. And, it looks like denim which is a bit different. Two ice hook loops. Five gear loops. It’s a contender to the DMM Renegade (slightly more comfortable IMO) and can be found for a similar price if you look around online.

Also, it’s made from many different types of recycled material and won a design award for this accomplishment. All the stats are on the Ocun website if you’re into that sort of thing. I just thought it looked cool and was glad when it fit me nicely.
